  How We Work

  • Initial consultation

This is the beginning of the project. A meeting will held to discuss the overall needs of the client and the services that need to be rendered for the project. We will review life style, building site, features of the home and budget.

Bring with you any pictures, sketches, magazines, plot plans, deed restrictions, convent restrictions; you may have to help detail you style/look that you would like in your design.

An estimate for services and a contract is initiated based on the scope of the project and a down payment check is issued to begin the preliminary design process.

  • Design development/preliminary layout

We will generate some preliminary drawings of the floor plan and exterior elevations based on our initial meeting. The homeowner and/or builder will attend to review drawings and discuss any final changes to the design.

  • Second revision

We will make changes to the preliminary layout at this stage. All structural changes are decided at this phase. At this time all levels of the design are to be drawn.

**any major structural change after this point will fall under additional changes below**

  • Final layout

All drawings are produced to build your home. Minor changes are acceptable at this phase. Major changes affecting already approved drawings are subject to an hourly rate.

  • Final revisions

All drawings are presented to the client. Once approved the balance of the fee will be due at the time of delivery of plans.
